Fond Parisien, Haiti

The above includes the July 21 Sunday night stay at the Miami Airport Hotel, Love a Child host organization trip fee, food, lodging, translators, security and transportation while in Haiti.


Please let us make ALL reservations for you as it can be quite complex.

A PASSPORT IS REQUIRED with an expiration date no earlier than January 21, 2020.  If you do not already have a passport, one must be acquired no later than April 1, 2019, to hold your spot.

WORRIED ABOUT FUND RAISING?  Registration includes your very own personal web page with a payment link for tax-deductible donations (non-related parties) and sales.


Must be:

• 18 years of age or older and have already graduated high school.  

• In reasonably good physical condition (no difficulty walking on uneven ground, walking distances up to a mile, tolerating outdoor temperatures 95-100 degrees).

•Payment in full is required on or before June 1, 2019.  Airfare and flight insurance is nonrefundable.  The remaining trip balance is 100% refundable. 


The team will stay at the Love A Child property in Fond Parisien, Haiti.  We will enjoy air-conditioned rooms, hot water and the best food anywhere in Haiti.  The majority of our time will be spent on the property.


If you are not flying with us out of Houston, we will make your reservations and arrange a meet-up time at the Miami International Airport Hotel.  We fly together as a team from Miami to Port au Prince, Haiti, on the 7 a.m. flight the morning of July 22, 2019.  Due to Port au Prince traffic and the distance from the airport to Love A Child's location, there are no exceptions to being on this flight.

We return home late afternoon July 27, 2019.


MONDAY, July 22, 2019 - We will arrive at Love A Child's property early afternoon.  Love A Child has a beautiful childrens' home (apx 80 children from toddler to young adult age), a full-service medical clinic, a malnutrition clinic, a birthing center, a large church, a school (approximately 1100 students), a food distribution warehouse, a deep-well water system, generator buildings, a motor depot, a food depot, etc., etc.  The property is gorgeous! 


Upon arrival, we will settle into our hotel rooms, eat lunch, organize supplies, decorate the children's home with the kids and complete team registration (bracket soccer, fine arts, drama, worship, etc.)  Each team member will be paired with one or two of the older Love A Child teen-agers and work together in the various areas of responsibility.  These kids are incredibly talented and contribute in a huge way to the success of KCIB.


TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY are camp days (soccer, morning/afternoon teaching, games, crafts, and afternoon prep for the evening service.) 


SATURDAY is our going-home day.  Saying "Good-bye!" is always difficult.
