Trends.collegeboard.org tracks published in-state tuition and fees at public four-year institutions. They have documented an average 3.5% increase per year above inflation every year for the last 10 years.
What is the price of a college education?
We all agree... COLLEGE IS EXPENSIVE. So what do we do? WE GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS!
Since May 2008, the Click Family Foundation has awarded a minimum of twenty $1,000 scholarships per year to deserving high school seniors in our community.
The selection process begins in January.
Scholarship applicants must
Plan to attend an accredited community, state or private college or a licensed vocational training school.
Demonstrate stable scholastic achievement (majority A and B; C is acceptable, but no grades lower than a C on report cards for the current school year.
Are awarded based on the merit of a specific essay topic.
In most cases are paid directly to the college or qualified trade school of their choice.
Must be claimed no later than July 15, 2019 for fall semester funding or December 15, 2019 for spring semester funding. Scholarships not claimed by December 15, 2019 will be forfeited.
Applicants authoring the top 20 essays will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
25% grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and spelling.
